Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
