Christantus Uche Sparks Comfortable Crystal Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable result that all but guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct entry to the knockout stages, especially following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, finding the net for the second game in succession.
The Shelbourne team that had concluded their domestic season proved no match against a mostly rotated Palace outfit. The Londoners were already depleted by the reports that Mateta and Muñoz are sidelined with knee injuries.

Shelbourne were clinging on for dear life. Defender Kameron Ledwidge was lucky to escape a booking for a couple of agricultural tackles on Yeremy Pino, before Chris Richards struck the woodwork with a header from a corner.
Pino Wraps Up the Contest
The contest was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some comically weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the traveling side.
